Restriction Cascade for Confluence: End User Terms

Last updated: October 28, 2026

These terms apply to your use of the Restriction Cascade for Confluence app ("the app"), published by Joe Simo ("we"). They sit alongside the Atlassian Marketplace Terms of Use, which govern purchasing and billing.

  1. License. While your site has an active subscription or free license through the Atlassian Marketplace, you may use the app on that site. Billing, trials, renewals and refunds are handled by Atlassian under the Atlassian Marketplace Terms.
  2. Your responsibility. The app changes page restrictions when a space admin tells it to, through inheritance rules or bulk jobs. Admins should use the preview before running bulk jobs and review rules before turning them on. Undo is available for 30 days after a bulk job.
  3. Safeguards. The app never removes the last restriction from a page and only lets space admins configure it, but it cannot guarantee that a rule or job matches your intent.
  4. No warranty. The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
  5. Limitation of liability. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of data or of access.
  6. Data. The Privacy Policy explains how data is handled. The app runs only on Atlassian's infrastructure.
  7. Changes and ending. We may update the app and these terms. You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it.
