Restriction Cascade for Confluence
Edit restrictions that finally inherit, plus bulk changes with preview and undo.
Confluence Cloud passes view restrictions down a page tree, but edit restrictions stop at the page you set them on (CONFCLOUD-5095). Restriction Cascade adds three tools to Space settings:
- Inheritance rules. Pages created, moved or copied under a chosen top page get the same edit restrictions as the page above them, and optionally view restrictions too.
- Bulk changes. Add, remove or replace a user or group across a whole page tree, with a preview first and undo for 30 days.
- Restricted pages report. See which pages are restricted, who can view and edit them, and whether each follows its rule. Download it as CSV.
